Is everything at Berlin Vintage Corner authentic?
Yes. Every piece is checked in our Berlin Mitte store before it goes online. We look at materials, stitching, hardware, labels and serial or date codes where a brand uses them. Anything we cannot verify does not get listed. If a piece ever turns out not to be authentic, you get your money back in full.
What condition are the pieces in?
Vintage means worn and loved. We grade each piece, describe any flaw honestly in the listing and photograph it. Most of our pieces are in very good or excellent condition. If a detail is not mentioned in the description, it is not there.
How do vintage sizes work?
Vintage sizing runs smaller than today's sizing, often by one to two sizes. That is why we list the size on the label and, for most garments, flat measurements in centimetres. Compare those measurements with a piece you already own rather than going by the label. If measurements are missing, write to us and we measure the piece for you within a day.
Can I return an item that does not fit?
Yes. You have 30 days to return your order and we pay for the return shipping. Sale items are excluded from returns. Since every piece exists only once, we cannot exchange it for another size, so a return and a new order is the way to go.
What does shipping cost and how long does it take?
Germany: free from 50 euro, otherwise 6.99 euro, delivered in 2 to 4 working days with DHL. EU: 13.99 euro, 3 to 6 working days. Rest of the world: 45.99 euro, 5 to 12 working days. We ship within 2 working days of your order.
Can I pick up my order in the store?
Yes, pick-up is free at Elisabethkirchstrasse 1, 10115 Berlin Mitte. Choose local pick-up at checkout and we hold your piece for 3 days. You are welcome to try the piece on when you collect it.
Can I visit the store and try things on?
Yes. The store is open Monday to Saturday from 12:00 to 19:00 and Sunday from 12:00 to 17:00. Over 1,000 curated pieces are in store, and part of the stock is only available on site, not online.
How often do new pieces arrive?
We add new pieces every week, usually several times a week. Everything that arrives is one of a kind and often sells within days, so following us on Instagram or checking New In regularly is the best way to catch a piece you want.
Can I reserve a piece?
Write to us at hello@berlinvintagecorner.de or send a message on Instagram. We hold a piece for 24 hours without payment, longer once it is paid for. Because every piece exists once, we cannot hold items open ended.
Can I sell my own designer pieces through you?
Yes, we take pieces on consignment. Bring them to the store or write to us first with photos. We look at brand, condition and how well the piece fits our customers, then we price it together with you and you get your share once it sells. Details are on our consignment page.
Which payment methods can I use?
Credit and debit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay, plus Klarna and instant bank transfer where available. In the store you can also pay by card or in cash.
How do I care for vintage pieces?
Follow the care label when the piece still has one, and choose a professional dry cleaner for silk, wool and tailoring when in doubt. Store leather bags stuffed and out of direct sunlight, and keep knitwear folded rather than on a hanger. We are happy to advise on a specific piece.
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes. We ship to the EU, the UK, Switzerland, Norway, the US, Canada, Australia, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Israel, New Zealand and the UAE. Customs duties outside the EU are paid by the customer.
What makes Berlin Vintage Corner different from a normal second hand shop?
We are a curated store, not a thrift store. Three women pick every piece by hand, focused on designer and premium labels from the 1960s to the 2000s in exceptional condition. Everything is authenticated, photographed and described in our own store in Berlin Mitte.
